Student Spotlight

Steuart Dewar, co-founder & owner of Gorilla Haven

"When I first came to Gorilla Haven I was greeted by a large and happy pack of dogs. They ranged in size from toy terrier mix to rottweiler mix. Steuart told me that when He & his wife Jane first moved onto the property, they went to the pound and adopted all the dogs and cats that were going to be put down the following week. I thought "WOW! I'm so delighted to be in the presence of souls like this!" I only saw one of the kitties, but I'm told there are many. I'm working on the names, and hope to be there enough to learn them all one day. In this spotlight learn more about the owner and founders of Gorilla Haven, Steuart and Jane Dewar, and Kelly Daugherty, an employee who moved down from Buffalo, NY for her dream job. (more)
